The two great padel nations, Spain and Argentina, met as expected in the men's World Championship final. The final series began with a victory for Spain, as Coki Nieto and Arturo Coello completely crushed Argentina's Martin Di Nenno and Franco Stupaczuk in straight sets. The second match of the final series attracted great interest in advance, as Spain's coach Juanjo Gutiérrez had hinted after the semifinals that Spain's Juan Lebron would play in the B-box in the final. The Spanish duo faced Argentinians Fede Chingotto and Agustin Tapia. The match was tight, and Argentina won the first set in a tiebreak. Spain managed to win the second set, but the third and decisive set clearly went to Argentina. The deciding third match was played between Spain's Mike Yanguas and Paquito Navarro and Argentina's Tino Libaak and Leandro Augsburger. The match was very tight, as Spain won the first set 6-3. Argentina leveled by winning the second set 7-5. Ultimately, a third set was needed to decide the World Championship final, which was decided in a tiebreak in favor of Argentina.
