Two International Padel Tournaments in Finland in 2025

In 2025, two international FIP Bronze category padel tournaments will be played in Finland. The first one will be held from April 10th to 13th in Espoo at the top-notch courts of ESC Padel, and the second will start in the Helsinki metropolitan area on October 30th. Both events are also part of the domestic Finnish Padel Tour.

This year's FPT program includes a total of five events, two of which also serve as FIP Bronze tournaments. The season culminates in the indoor Finnish Championships played in December, where the three pairs that have collected the most FPT points are awarded. To be eligible for the FPT overall competition's victory battle, participation in at least three events during the season is required.

FIP and FPT Points Also Available from Qualifiers

In combined FIP / FPT tournaments, players earn points for both series. The qualifiers are also considered in the FPT scoring: winning the last qualifying round provides 150 FPT points, which are added to the points earned in the main tournament. Four best pairs from the qualifiers advance to the main tournament.

The total prize pool for the tournaments is 7,000 euros, and the competitions follow the official FIP rules. The points for different placements can be found below.

Juniors Included in the FIP Promises Tournament

Alongside the adult competitions, the junior-focused FIP Promises series will be organized, with age categories U12, U14, U16, and U18, both for girls and boys. The tournament is an excellent opportunity for young players to experience the atmosphere of international competition and to observe top players' performances on site.
