Two New Padel Halls to Open in Espoo in 2025
The padel scene in Espoo will receive a significant addition this year when two new padel halls open in the city. Rosegarden, being built in Laajalahti, will be opened in early March 2025, and will feature 15 padel courts. In June 2025, a padel hall with 16 courts will open in Lommila.
At the same time, Padel House, which has been operating in Espoo's Kera since 2019 and has been one of the largest padel centers in the world, will gradually close its doors. On February 16, 2025, 9 courts will be removed from use, and by June 15, the remaining 18 courts will close. Padel House has operated in the Kera Halls, which are being demolished for residential development.
Although the closure of Padel House will temporarily reduce the number of courts, the number of indoor courts in Espoo will ultimately increase with the addition of the new halls. For players, this means even better opportunities to play the sport year-round in new and modern facilities.
